Task descriptions

The Community Outreach Subcommittee engages various demographic groups (including the African American, Faith, Millennial, Business Owners, Neighborhoods and Senior communities) to get the word out about the ballot initiative. We will promote, educate and drive voter support at the polls.

The Field Operations Subcommittee works on many aspects of voter contact such as events that galvanize support for the initiative, and going door to door, making phone calls, distributing campaign literature, and putting up yard signs.

The Fundraising Subcommittee ensures Citizens for an Elected Mayor has sufficient funds to engage in all the work needed to secure support for the initiative.

The Legal Subcommittee monitors and acts on all legal issues.

The Marketing & Communications Subcommittee creates content to be shared on social media, website, emails, print or online media; and crafts messaging both proactively and re-actively to advance the campaign.
